Loktak Batallion Assam Rifles Holds Interaction Program with Meira Paibis in Kumbi

Loktak Batallion Assam Rifles, under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South), held an interaction program with Meira Paibi Members at Company Operating Base, Kumbi, Bishnupur on Sunday, 26 February 2023.

The interaction aimed at promoting good relations and bonhomie between the Assam Rifles and the local populace of existing women's organizations. Around 40 Meira Paibi members and some locals of Bishnupur District showed up at the meeting, chaired by Company Commander, Kumbi Company Operating Base.

The meeting enabled a free and willing interaction between Assam Rifles and Meira Paibi Members allowing various issues ranging from the education system, medical facility, and cordial relationships for the welfare of the society in general. The company commander highlighted the importance of Meira Paibis in the empowerment of women. The team of Assam Rifles urged them to cooperate for the overall benefit and betterment of society. The gathering also appreciated the efforts and cordial assistance of Assam Rifles in maintaining peace and tranquility in the area.
