MADA’s Organization Secretary Surrendered On Charge of Embezzling Funds in the name of Anti-Drug

MADA’s Organization Secretary surrendered to AMMDC HQ and KangleiPanas Thoubal District Council Lilong after the members of the organization were given an ultimatum to surrender themselves following the arrest of MADA’s President on the charge of embezzling funds in the name of Anti-Drugs.
The Organizational Secretary of Manipur Anti-Drugs Association (MADA) surrendered to AMMDC HQ and KangleiPanas Thoubal District Council Lilong is Md. Wahidur Rahaman Alias Taslim Khan (35 years), son of MD Zalaluddin Alias Aladiya from Lilong Tamyai Mamang.
Abbas, Vice President of AMMDC, said during the press conference, jointly organized by AMMDC, Head Quarter, and KANGLEIPANAS, Thoubal District Council, Lilong at the office of AMMDC HQ that the leader of an organization called "Manipur Anti-Drugs Association (MADA)" based at different parts of Lilong Constituency accepted the charges of embezzling funds in the name of Anti-Drug related programs and asked for forgiveness to the people on Monday. A day after Organizational Secretary of the Committee, Md Wahidur Rahaman @ Taslim Khan surrendered to AMMDC H.Q and Kanglei Panas Thoubal District Council and asked for forgiveness from the people. He also swore to never commit the fraudulent way of raising funds for his own selfish ends.
Appealing to people to never fall into the traps of any such organization and people, the Vice President told them to always stay alert and never support any such organization with a false purpose.
The vice president also expressed his gratitude to Pusham Samir Khan, Founder cum Project Director, Islah-E-Ekhalq Mashwarah Foundation Lilong Ushoipokpi, for his kind cooperation in finding out the particulars of the leaders of MADA.
Seeking forgiveness from the people, Md Wahidur Rahaman Alias Taslim Khan in his statement said that he would never commit such a fraudulent act and trap people.
President MD SALAUDDIN KHAN, KangleiPanas, Thoubal Dist. Council, Lilong also participated in the press conference.
