Manipur for peace- To organize a Rally against divisive forces & External Aggression in Delhi
The Manipur Coordinating Committee, Delhi has decided to come together collectively on June 4th June 2023 at Jantar Mantar New Delhi to peacefully protest against the violence in Manipur.
A group of five organizations based in Delhi stated that, while analyzing the expressions, feelings, writings, opinions, and actions of different stakeholders and generals public on the present turmoils in the state, they said it has become crystal clear that the modus-operandi for handling, curbing, controlling the current crisis by the state and central government has proved to be a complete failure and futile.
The five Delhi-based Manipur organization says they will be demanding to tackle these sensitive issues tactfully to return to complete normalcy and a peaceful atmosphere for the harmonious existence of ethnic groups.
They say they will also protest to bring a unanimous settlement of the grave situation and to undergo a thorough investigation with a goodwill gesture into the claims and counterclaims of either side considering the aspects of historical, geographical, logical, political, constitutional, and ethical points encountered the present turmoil situation at ground level prior to a permanent solution.
