Mass Vaccination for Domestic Animals Done in Wangoo

A mass vaccination program to protect domestic animals from communicable B Q (Black Quarter) and H S (Haemorrhagic Septicaemia) was held on Thursday at Wangoo, Sandangkhong, Kashartabi, Pungjaomakhong, Nungai, and Nongyakhongban in Kakching district.

The vaccination program was taken up under the supervision of Dr. S. Binokumari, Joint Director, Veterinary Department, Thoubal and Kakching, Manipur.

Joint Director Thoubal in joint hands with the Wangoo Sandangkhong Social Welfare Youth Club, PYDO Club, Pungjaomakhong, WKYC, Kashartabi, NYDO, Nongyaikhongban, and NDA, Nungai conducted the mass vaccination in between Chairel and Nungu region.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ksh. Diana, Veterinary Hospital Sugnu said that the mass vaccination program has been taken up under the instruction of Dr. S. Binokumari, Joint Director, Veterinary Department, Thoubal and Kakching following the unknown death of a cow at Wangoo Sandankhong.

16 staff vaccinated 488 cows and buffaloes in ten different vaccination centres for B Q and H.S disease.
