Nehru Yuva Kendra Thoubal & Chandel Invites Applications of NYVs for Thoubal, Kakching, Chandel, and Tengnoupal

As part of the Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, inviting Applications for recruitment of Volunteers for the year 2023-24, Nehru Yuva Kendra Thoubal & Chandel is inviting applications for the districts of Thoubal (8 nos), Kakching (3 nos), Chandel (8 nos), and Tengnoupal (3 nos) from eligible, active, and motivated youths.
Intending candidates can apply online at the NYKS website- www.nyks.nic.in. The last date for receipt of applications is 9th March 2023. And interview dates will be intimated directly to the applicants.
The details regarding the scheme, eligibility criteria, roles, timeline, submission, etc. can be obtained from Nehru Yuva Kendra Thoubal & Chandel's office.
The volunteers thus selected will serve as NYVs carrying out awareness campaigns and organizing youths for nation-building. They will also act as a bridge between the government & youth clubs. And they will be paid a monthly honorarium of Rs.5000/- from the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India for a maximum period of up to 2 years from 1st April 2023 until 31st March 2025.
The objective of the recruitment is to set up a cadre of disciplined and dedicated youths for Nation-Building tasks and act as role models for the younger cohort, especially in enhancing public ethics, voluntarism, and patriotism.
