One day Lecture on How to Join Armed Forces at Village Okoklong- Noney District
Noney Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of 22 Sector Assam Rifles and Inspector General of Assam Rifles (East) organized a lecture on how to join the Army as part of AzadikaAmritMahotsav to showcase the might of Armed Forces in Village Okoklong, District Noney, Manipur on 16 May 2022.

The event was a part of the “Know Your Army” campaign, which allowed the students to know their Army and its capabilities. The splendid event encompassed a lecture on how to join Army followed by an interactive session. The young students were informed about the glorious history and timeless tradition of the Indian Army and Assam Rifles as well as the types of entries to enroll and obtain a commission in the Indian Armed Forces.
The team of Company Operating Base Nungba shared their experiences with young students and made the event more interactive by clarifying all the queries raised by the students, regarding the procedure to join the Indian Army, Assam Rifles, other CAPFsand also discussed other career options. Information on the upcoming Assam Rifles recruitment rallies along with career counseling was also provided to the attendees during the program.

The young generations were highly motivated to join the Indian Army and the Assam Rifles said their press release. They were highly inspired by the lifestyle, adventure, job security, and respect of the Army and Assam Rifles. Lastly, the event was conducted with tea and refreshment for all the attendees. A total of 30 students attended the program. All COVID-19 precautions were taken during the lecture.
