One killed in Accident; Villager Lament lack of emergency service in Noney District
In an unfortunate incident, KP. Dimduanliu -48 yrs, w/o. Gaikhanghoi Rouangmei, of Khumji-3, fell accidentally from a Truck (Shaktiman), this morning around 6:30: Am, at Khumji-3, near St. Joseph Catholic Church khumji-3, which is under the jurisdiction of Noney Police Station, Noney Dist. The unfortunate incident occurred when they were proceeding to a Marriage program at Gairihlong Village Longrang (Nungang).
The victim succumbed to injuries on the way to Imphal for Emergency Treatment. The villagers lament the lack of emergency service at Noney PHC and the district's shortage of doctors.
The deceased was brought back to her home for a necessary funeral service.
The funeral service was Minister by Rev. Fr. TS Dominic, Parish Priest, Awangkhul, and moderator by Mr. Sebastian, T/C, Awangkhul Parish.
Her family background is labor & she left her two daughters & three sons.
