Professor Kham Khan Suan Hausingh Summoned by CJM Imphal East

Chief Judicial Magistrate Imphal East issued, on Thursday, a summon Khan Suan Hausingh returnable on/before 28^th July 2023.

The summon has been issued following a complaint petition filed by Moirangthem Manihar Singh against Professor Kham Khan Suan Hausingh over the latter’s derogatory remark in an interview in ‘The Wire” against the holy religious sites associated historically with Meitei Community namely KOubru, Thangjing, and others.

The complaint petition is also filed against his false statement which accuses and defames the Meitei Community and further leads to more enmity between the two communities, mainly the Kukis and the Meiteis.

The accused has been summoned following the offenses under sections 153 (A), 200, 295 (A), 295, 505 (i), 120 (B) of the IPC.
