Manipur Pradesh Youth Congress Committee Members Took to Streets in Protest against the Disqualification of Rahul Gandhi as Lok Sabha MP

A day after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was disqualified from the Lok Sabha, Manipur Pradesh Youth Congress Committee erupted into a protest rally against the verdict of the Surat Court and the subsequent disqualification.
The members of the Manipur Pradesh Youth Congress Committee began the rally from the Congress Bhavan, marched along the Kangla towards the South, and shouted in front of the Raj Bhavan main gate against the BJP government for investing crores of public money in the allegedly close relatives of PM Modi including Adani, Nirav Modi, and others.
While speaking to the media, N. Popilal, Leader of the Youth Congress Committee, said at the end of the protest that Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Central government, Home Minister Amit Shah, and the Prime Minister himself are scared of Rahul Gandhi’s growing popularity in India and the World Wide, and Rahul Gandhi’s questions on Adani.”
Popilal also called the disqualification of Rahul Gandhi "A Black Day for Indian Democracy", and continued that Congress is not afraid of anybody or any power. He also said that Congress will continue to fight for the Truth and Voice of the people.
Meanwhile, during a press conference at the Congress Bhavan, Meghachandra – President Manipur Congress Committee advocated Rahul Gandhi that Rahul Gandhi had never talked about the Modi Group of Communities and other backward classes in the election campaign in 2019. But he was only talking about Narendra Modi, Lalit Modi, Nirav Modi, and Gautam Adani.
The President furthered that the BJP government at the Centre wants to replace “D” for “Democracy with “D” for “Dictatorship”. And this is the same case with Rahul Gandhi. The President questioned over the disqualification of Rahul Gandhi a day right after the Surat Verdict. Not even the Election Commission of India was either informed or consulted regarding the disqualification.
The President also quoted the huge amount of public money from LIC and SBI being invested to the alleged Frauds like Nirav Mod, Lalit Modi, and Gautam Adani. He also questioned over the misuse of investigating agencies by the BJP Government to suppress his rivals, the opposition party, and those who speak against them.
