DC Says Renovation Works underway to upgrade Usoipokpi and Waithou Pat into tourist destinations

To promote entrepreneurs and businessmen in Thoubal District, DC Thoubal, on Sunday, organized the " First TDCCI- Business Summit-2023 " at the Multipurpose Indoor Stadium of Thoubal Kshetri Leikai.
The DC stated that a body like TDCCI must guide the budding entrepreneurs in the district to run a business successfully. He also said that Thoubal District would become a business hub as the Trans Asian Highway passes through the district. The DC continued that renovation works are underway to upgrade Usoipokpi and Waithou Pat into tourist destinations shortly.
The Business Summit had discussions on the topics like - "Legality and Compliance of Business," "Funding of Business," and "Successful Entrepreneurs of Manipur" in three different sessions. The discussions were attended by successful entrepreneurs and businessmen from various places in Manipur. Many banks facilitated loan opportunities to various budding entrepreneurs in the district.
Entrepreneurs would be benefitted from the establishment of such tourist destinations and a new Industrial Estate in the district, said the DC. He also urged TDCCI to promote and assist in the production of successful entrepreneurs. The DC also assured that District Administration would distribute schemes of entrepreneurship impartially.
Chief Patron of TDCCI and Deputy Commissioner of Thoubal A. Subhash Singh, IAS graced the launching of the Business Summit as the Chief Guest, President of TDCCI Dr. N. Sharatchandra Singh as Functionary President, SP Thoubal Jogeshchandra Haobijam, IPS, President of Manipur Chamber of Commerce - Dr. Th. Dhabali, President of AMEA S. Rishikumar Singh, President of BEG W. Vikram and Founder Chairman of MMRC Unity Park Kh. Menjor Mangang as Guests of Honor.
